I first started driving for DoorDash last summer to make some extra cash, I remember my Alpha brother Taijee first told me about this company and I guess I was living under a rock because I knew nothing about this company. DoorDash gives you the opportunity to be your own boss and work whenever you want. What you make as a Dasher depends on where, how much, and what time of day you choose to deliver. 

For every delivery you do you will always earn a base pay. Base pay is calculated based on the estimated time, distance, and desirability of the order. This could be between 2-10 dollars every delivery. Then you add in the tips you get which can be anything the customer choose to give, and the best part about that is that you get to keep 100% of the tips. DoorDash also gives people opportunities to make more money with their promotions such as peak pay and challenges. Peak pay pays you more per delivery when your city is busy and cramped with orders.

So DoorDash will add however much it says on the app to your delivery total. DoorDash Challenges let you earn extra money for completing a certain number of deliveries in a set amount of time. I personal never done one of their challenges, but I do find it pretty cool that they allow people to do that. You are able to track your earnings throughout the week and you get the option to get paid weekly, daily, or instantly.

DoorDash has grown a lot, I personally have gotten people to start dashing and I know multiple people who are doing it now. I feel like everywhere I go and everything that I do I see DoorDash being advertised especially when I'm scrolling through TikTok. DoorDash is a good way to make money whenever you want, there's people that does this for a living and they living well (making $1000 a week). So join the trend, make easy money.
